Its Cuban-seed wrapper was grown in Ecuador but the rest of the tobacco is Nicaraguan. Most of the filler comes from Jalapa with a little bit of tobacco from Estelí. The binder is from Estelí as well.
According to the company, there is no ligero tobacco in the cigar, which is typically used for strength. Rather, this year’s Black Friday is made with visa and Seco leaves, which are not as strong, as they grow lower on the plant and get less sun exposure.
