Warped Isla del Cocodrilo

SKU: N/A Category: Tag:

Isla del Cocodrilo, which translates to “island of the crocodile,” doesn’t have any Cuban tobacco in it, of course, but instead is composed of Ecuadoran wrapper, two binders (one Ecuador Habano 2000, the other Brazilian Arapiraca) and Nicaraguan filler.

Warped owner Kyle Gellis says that the Ecuador Habano wrapper was culled in the deslforado method, something that’s done in many tobacco operations, where the flower of the tobacco plant was removed in the field. Also called “topping,” this is done so that the plant redirects its energy back into the leaf as opposed to creating a new flower, resulting in stronger tobacco.
