The Rare Leaf line, first launched in 2021, for Aganorsa Select Accounts uses a café wrapper grown in Jalapa covering dual criollo 98 binders taken from two different farms, as well as a filler made up of both criollo 98 and corojo 99 tobaccos. The blend of Nicaraguan puros produce a medium bodied cigar, is as sweet as it is spicy.

This exclusive uses the famed Cuban 109, named for its unique head shape, which is a specialized format typically seen only from high-level Cuban-trained rollers. The 109 size was popularized during the cigar boom of the mid-90s, being featured on Cuba’s finest limited-edition habanos, and is now considered a signature of the Aganorsa Leaf Factory in Nicaragua.
